"Gave our very overweight, 5 year old shelter cat a thorough annual check-up, administered rabies vaccine, clipped her nails (!)and advised me on ways to help get her weight down. Dr. Lauren took plenty of time discussing Lizzie's diet. | |We also have 2 rescue dogs and they are seen at the clinic, too, as have been all of our pets for many years. The entire staff--receptionist, techs and vets--are everything you could ask for and more. They are friendly, caring, and compassionate. I highly recommend the wonderful staff of the Cumberland Animal Clinic."

"Our dog went in to have his teeth cleaned. After removing the plaque and tartar, the vet discovered a severely fractured tooth, with the root exposed, that required surgical extraction. Dr. Moody called me and explained what he had found and obtained my permission to go ahead with the extraction. Our dog recovered fully and avoided the potential complication of an abscess. The entire staff exhibits great concern and caring for their furry patients. I would highly recommend the Cumberland Animal Clinic to anyone."

"Thank you for giving me back my happy healthy senior cat! I brought Arthur in a few weeks ago and he was not doing well. But he's gained almost 3/4 of a pound! He's ecstatic, I'm ecstatic and you guys are amazing! Thank you so much!" Lisa A.

"Incredible team of professionals. We've been very pleased with the advice and attention this clinic has given us. Would highly recommend them to anyone" - Janice D.

"Stay with this guys, you're helping a lot of people." - Anemona

"Last year I adopted two beagle puppies and I wanted them to have the best care. I had seen Dr. Benito years before and had really liked the way she was with my previous dog. I took the time to find her there at the Cumberland Animal Clinic and I know it's well worth the drive from Portland. I'm very happy with the care that she and all the staff give to my dogs. I know that Janna and the rest of the staff also really care for the animals that go there. It's the genuine personal care of the staff that keeps me coming back." - Thomas L.

"We're new to the area, and the front office staff was helpful while answering the many questions I had looking for a new vet practice for our rescued dog. And I decided to make a new patient appointment. The office was easy to find with plenty of parking and easy entry to the office. Once there the staff explained procedures and care as the visit went along. They treated my little dog gently and included me in the visit, all the while keeping the dog calm. The office got back to me with the blood test results and even emailed me the upcoming neuter and vaccine estimate to plan for the next visit. I would recommend them to a friend or family member. Thank you Cumberland Animal Hospital for your help taking care of Zorro!" - S.C.

"I have been taking my pets to the Cumberland Animal Clinic since we moved to the area 10 years ago and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. When our last dog needed to be put down 2 of the staff came to our house on a bitter cold day and took care of everything. They made a heart wrenching situation so much easier by allowing us to be in our home and say our good-byes. We now take our 2 current dogs there and have decided to stay because of the high quality of service" - A.M.

"Seriously the nicest and most friendly service" - Reece H.

"Superior service and quality of care - Yes, I was one of those looking for the best price... well I'm here to say go with the practice that give the best quality of medicine and service. I found that in Cumberland Animal Clinic. Thank you to Dr. Tom, Dr. Lauren and the staff, you were all so wonderful with Toro!"

"Absolutely wonderful with our dogs ranging from 14 weeks to 14 y ears, and multiple personalities (That's just Schatzi, haha) ... thank you!!! Beth H.

"Amazing quality of care. They are very accommodating to the needs of our boy. The staff is priceless because of their passion, patience, and love towards the animals. They are organized and prompt with exams and getting back about blood work results. GREAT JOB CUMBERLAND ANIMAL CLINIC. " Regan S.

"Our dog ingested a toxic level of dark chocolate. We call another vet because they are located right down the street. (I am visiting my family in Yarmouth, I do not live here.) We called at 5:00 pm and they close at 6:00 pm. My family has used this vet for over 10 years, for both dogs and cats. Despite the emergency, they refused to see our dog (citing lack of available doctors) and suggested we take him to the emergency clinic in either Portland or Scarborough. By comparison, the vet in Cumberland made the appropriate scheduling accommodations and asked us to bring our dog right over. - Sara S.

"Cumberland Animal Clinic is the best! We brought our pets there growing up and now I bring my two cats as well. The staff and vets are so friendly and helpful; I showed up one afternoon freaking out after my cat had a bad seizure and Dr. Benito was checking him out within 10 minutes. They're all awesome people and they genuinely care about animals! I recommend them to everyone I know with pets." - Beth W.

"Thanks to Dr. Lauren Netland and the staff of the Cumberland Animal Clinic for their excellent care given to Sophie last week. Thank you Lauren for all you have done for Sophie and me. See you Monday." Lorraine G.
